How do I use Webmail?

To use email on any computer on the Internet:

Go to www.yourdomain.com/webmail

Log in to Horde/Squirrel Mail using your email address as your login, unless you are the account holder. In that case use your normal user name. You also need to enter your password.

How do I configure Outlook Express/Outlook, etc.?

These are the servers you need to enter:

Incoming mail server is mail.yourdomain.com

Outgoing mail is the same, mail.yourdomain.com*

The user name is your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS, including the @ sign. e.g. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

The password is the one provided to you relating to this email account.

*You will probably find that outgoing mail cannot be sent through your local ISP using your own mail server. Usually redirecting in this way is blocked to limit spam. In this case, use the smtp server/mail server for your isp, eg. smtp1.sympatico.ca. Your email address will still show as coming from your own domain.
